Over the past year, we have been working with Rebecca McCarthy to either find a piece of land in order to build new home or to purchase an existing home in the Lewisburg area, so that we could relocate in order to be closer to our son and his family. She has been very accommodating to us, as we have to travel 2.5 hours from our current residence in order to make it out there to look at homes and/or land. Upon initially meeting with Rebecca, she sat there and listened to what we were trying to accomplish, and then she asked us several different questions and listened to our responses, so that we could begin journey to find a new home to meet our needs/wants. As we travelled with her in the car, she was informative about various areas as we looked at several homes. She has a wonderful personality that allowed us to enjoy our adventure. After looking at several homes, we decided that we really didn't want to buy someone else's problems. We had decided that we wanted to build a new ranch home. She then put together a list of several pieces of land that she took us to see. On September 26, 2024, Rebecca put together our offer to purchase an acre of land located at Lot 35 Meadow Run Drive, Winfield, PA 17889, and we settled on the purchase of this piece of land on November 19, 2024. We would like to "thank" Rebecca for all the time and effort that she put into allowing us to accomplish our mission. We would recommend Rebecca McCarthy and Berkshire Hathway Homes Services - Hodrick Realty to anyone who asked us for a real estate recommendation.
